I've heard that you can get pokerus by putting the pokemon you want to get it in the first slot of your party then go battle and use attacks that make physical contact with the foe.There is a chance that the pokemon you battled had it and if your attacks made physical contact you might have contracted it.As you may know, your pokemon will grow faster.BUT,there is a downside.Your pokemons friendship will drop very low.And the disease spreads to all pokemon in your party or pc, depending on where its at.So,if you're trying to get a crobat for example,put it in the pc.Also,this is just what i heard.I dont know if its true or not.Hope I helped!!

Pokerus is a hramless virus which can suddnely affect one of your Pokes. If you leave that affected Poke in your party, the Pokerus will spread. And if you put it in the PC, it will have it forever until you take it out and it wears off. Pokerus is very useful because it doubles the rate of gaining EVs.
